On 4 February 2008, the Permanent Representation of the European Commission in Bulgaria, with the support of BECSA and the Economic and Investment Bank, organises a discussion with the participation of commissioner Meglena Kuneva entitled "The Development of the European Internal Market and the Place of Bulgaria".

As from January 2008, BECSA is partner in the implementation of the initiative "Europe ici et maintenant" ("Europe here and now") of the French Institute in Sofia (description of the initiative).

BECSA, the Institute for Regional and International Studies (IRIS) - Sofia, and the Bulgarian Diplomatic Institute are partners in the International Conference "Regional Cooperation in the Black Sea and Danube Regions: Addressing Challenges and Providing Perspectives", which is organised by the National Assembly and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria and the South Eastern Europe Association - Munich, Germany, and takes place on 16-17 November 2007 at the Boyana residence in Sofia. After the conference, a team from BECSA is assigned the task of preparing the conference report.
